The Equine SunSwitch Deluxe Solarium (Horse Solarium) comprises three Equine SunSwitch heaters complete with mounting brackets, and three EC1 Equine heat regulators, giving fully independent control of temperature for flanks and dorsal region. The ability to control each heater unit independently greatly increases flexibility of use and allows heat to be targeted precisely where needed. For example, if treating damaged muscles, it may not be necessary to heat the whole horse. The Equine SunSwitch Standard Dryer kit comprises two Equine SunSwitch heaters, complete with mounting brackets and one Equine SunSwitch EC1 controller for precise regulation of temperature. The controller must be mounted away from any risk of splashing - for example outside the washdown bay in a covered walkway or tack room. Select this option if timer control is not required.

A simple kit that allows Equine SunSwitch heaters to be suspended, for example in open span stables where wall fixing is not possible. Heaters can be angled to suit. Kit comprises stainless steel heater bracket, nuts and bolts, and two 2.0m long galvanised steel chains with quick release clips.

The EC1 Equine Heat Regulator enables the heat output from up to two Equine SunSwitch heaters to be manually adjusted for complete horse comfort. The advanced phase angle circuit has been specially developed for quartz halogen heaters. When turned down, the controller also reduces energy consumption. Extremely simple to install with just neutral, live and earth inputs, and connections to the heater/s. The Equine SunSwitch Controller + Timer is designed to regulate the output from up to two Equine SunSwitch heaters. The timer allows the 'on' duration to be set for up to 60 minutes. Operation can be cancelled at any stage by pressing 'On/stop'. The unit is IP65 rated (meaning it is fully protected against dust and water jets) and is therefore suitable for use outdoors or in wash down bays. When turned down, the controller reduces both heat output and energy consumed and, since the heaters then run cooler, the operating life of the elements is extended.

This tamper proof meter is ideal for livery yards wanting an effective way to recoup the installation and running costs of a horse solarium. The meter can be supplied in coin or token operated versions. The coin version will accept £1 and 20p coins.
