New weatherproof controller range announced

Equine SunSwitch has announced a new range of weatherproof controllers suitable for installation outdoors or in wet areas such as washdown bays.

First off the blocks is the ECT1 controller with variable heat adjustment and an integral timer which allows the 'on' duration to be set between ten minutes and one hour.

As with all Equine SunSwitch controllers, the emphasis is on simplicity of operation. Simply set the time period required, press the 'on' button and adjust the heat level.

The ECT1 will regulate up to two Equine SunSwitch heaters. The unit is IP65 rated, which means it is fully protected against dust and water jets. It will be available from December 2008 and will be offered as standard with Equine SunSwitch Dryer kits. The unit is CE approved.

Other products to be released soon include an IP65 rated version of the EC1 regulator and a weatherproof variable timer capable of switching a whole solarium on and off. The new products are fully compatible with existing Equine SunSwitch controllers.
