I just wanted to tell you how lucky it was that we invested in one of your Standard Solarium kits.

We have an ex-racehorse called Noisette that we rescued several years ago. She was expecting a foal in early February and as you know, the weather has been absolutely foul – so cold and wet, and also very windy where we live.

We put the heaters up in her stable, and when she was due, kept them on about half heat day and night. She really seemed to like it and was really mellow, especially considering this was her first!

She produced a lovely colt without any trouble at just gone midnight, and although it was blowing a gale, her stable stayed nice and warm. It was really good for us too, because we could watch him trying to get up and take his first drink without turning any lights on which might have upset them.

We have continued to use the heaters on days when it is too cold and wet to turn them out. Both mum and son are doing well!
